Our Privacy Philosophy
Personal Lift was built with a simple premise: your training data belongs to you. We believe that your strength metrics, body weight, and exercise history are private information. Consequently, our app is engineered to function entirely without a central server.
1. Data Collection & Storage
Personal Lift does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information you enter—including lift weights, repetitions, and body metrics—is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage provided by iOS. We do not have access to your training logs.
2. Apple Health Integration
If you grant permission, Personal Lift can sync your workout data to the Apple Health app. This data is used solely to help you track your activity rings and daily caloric burn. This information is processed on-device and is never sent to our team or any third party.
3. iCloud Backups
Personal Lift utilizes Apple's iCloud service to provide optional backup and synchronization across your own devices. This data is encrypted by Apple and is not accessible by the developers of Personal Lift.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs. There is no background tracking of your location or usage habits.
5. Contacting Us
If you choose to contact us via email for support, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or share your contact information with any marketing lists.
